Hi JD,

I'm aplying some 2.8% X fil offset to a camera and the image frame gets red.

Does it mean the render is being chopped or is just a noticed that the frame is out of viewport boundaries?

The latter: it just indicates that with the shift, you cannot view a portion of what will be rendered in the viewport. The rendered resolution is always what is specified in Camera > Output Resolution.
