I tried to use Alembic as Xreffing animated objects with Maxwell Materials, but I can't get it to work?
What would be the prefered method? We use large models with animated objects and we want to keep the MXS-sequence files as small as posible by using Alembic.
Also I can't seem to get the MWObjectAlembic working in studio with a Alembic file from C4D? There's nothing showing up.
We are testing C4D with Maxwell. Workflow:
1 - Rhino (Model from engineering with Maxwell Materials, export .MXS)
2 - C4D (Import .MXS, animate objects/parts on the model, export .ABC)
3 - C4D (Make scene with camera's and use the .ABC model(s))
4 - Send to Network for Rendering
Can someone tell me if this is possible?
Cheers
