Hi,

if I want to render an animation do I have to export it as a series of MXS' files and then render it as "batch" in the network monitor?
Is there no way to export one MXS and render it via "Animation" setting? Because checking dependencies and adding the jobs to the network frame by frame takes a lot of time.

The MXS format supports only a single frame per file, so the answer is, it has to work the way it does. However, it should not be necessary to add all the frames manually, if you use the Export to Network command in the plugin, and then choose the Animation Job as Job Type in the Network Monitor's Add Network Job Wizard. If you do that, everything in the next page of the wizard (Render Options) should already be set up to render the frames you just exported.

I thought I had to choose a file and set the frames, like in C4D.

Thanks, that works. Well, kind of - back to the main thread ...
