Hi all,
Maybe this is not so clever question or wish but anyway here it goes.
Would be nce to have a Batch render like the one bulit in C4D, I know that this can be made by script via MaxwellRender, but I´m a UI guy (I hate those script thingies)

Would I be correct to assume that the main purpose of this would be to export and optionally render a list of different Cinema documents in Maxwell? Each Cinema document might have any number of Scene objects; would you need to be able to specify which one(s) would be exported for any given document? You say you want a UI -- what do you envision that looking like -- meaning, what options do you need to accomplish your goals?

Exactly, if I have for example 5 of documents that I need to let render by weekend in the office.

In my case each document have only one Scene object but that would be a nice addon if you can batch many Scene objects inside one document.

Just a simple list like the one built in C4D is enough, so the plugin can pick one by one when the previous is finish in order to launch the new one, but the thing that is there have to be a two ways communication between C4D and MWR and I guess that is a little impossible.

So the way that maybe it could work is creating a batch MXS export to a common folder (the plugin ask where to save) in companion with the "batch script command" so MWR can read that script from that folder and do all the job by itself, so you can click Batch and leave the office with no worries.

I hope this makes sense :D

Okay, let me put that on my list then. However, you do know that you can already do batch jobs in Maxwell automatically using a UI, correct? You can't batch the export of Cinema documents, but if you already have all five MXS files exported from Cinema, you can easily set up Maxwell to render them all over the weekend. Just start Maxwell Node, Manager, and Monitor, then in Monitor > Jobs, select Add Job. Select Batch Job and add the MXS files you want to render. One of the benefits here is that you can also use multiple nodes if you have them.
