ist dafür das cinema Plugin nicht ausreichend? Verstehe das Problem nicht ganz.

Is the RF Cinema plugin not sufficient for importing and rendering this? don't get your issues. As long as it is imported correct in Cinema it should be transferred to Maxwell without a problem.
If you have problems importing your rf mesh to cinema this might not be the correct forum (unless JD is also the main head behind this plugin)...

JDHill wrote:To begin with, the Maxwell for Cinema plugin will read objects (i.e. RF Mesh Importer, RF Particle Importer, RF SD Animation) created by the RF Cinema plugin. During export, these will be written as extension objects (i.e. Studio > Objects > right-click > Create Extension Object); meshes created for Cinema by the RF Cinema plugin will be ignored.

I happen to be working on this as we speak.
I take it that I missunderstood this statement then. How will the RF Mesh Importer be transferred/ but the meshes ignored ? The Mesh Importer can only import prebuilt meshes, right ? so it needs a new RF Extension Object/Tag inside Cinema 4D already to be applied to a particle loader,I guess. This is pretty confusing, but I am sure JD knows what he is doing.

right now it appears to be, but as JDHill mentioned, that these meshes will be ignored, I jumped in to clear the meaning of this statement ;)

happy new year all ;)

It will work by telling Maxwell (through the new 2.6 extensions system) of the existence of the RF files to which the RF Cinema plugin is pointing, along with the parameters defined in that plugin. Since, through the extension, Maxwell will read the RF files directly, at render time, there is no need to also export the RF mesh proxies generated for Cinema by the RF Cinema plugin -- Maxwell will simply render the RF files instead, scaled and positioned as described by objects (RF Mesh Importer, etc) provided by the RF Cinema plugin.
