Hello all

is it possible to have a multilight rendering calculated as a small version tweak the emitters to ones liking and then have the (c4d) scene changed so that I can turn off multilight rendering in the final res rendering? I see something like this in the online manual of the maya plugin.

Also there is something called "import multilight settings" under "file" in studio. But I can´t get that to work. I tweaked an mxi, saved the multilight and did the "import multilight setting" thing in studio...

In c4d I tried to manually type in the values that the multilight window pane shows but the cinema plug (and also studio) seems to have different units at least when it comes to environment strenght (c4d=unnamed value; studio=cd/m2;maxwell=L)

can anyone help me with that?

Cheers,

There are newer SDK functions for importing Multilight settings, but they are not yet implemented in the Cinema plugin; I'll see what I can do. On the second question, I don't know why maxwell.exe shows the sky dome intensity as "L", but the values appear to be the same between it and the plugin; just for example, decreasing the "Constant Sky" slider in Multilight from 10000 to 2000 results in the same illumination as setting it to 2000 in the plugin and rendering again (indeed, the "Constant Sky" slider shows 2100 in that case).
