Hi there,

i just updated the C4D plugin to 2.5.1.8 (i just copied the zip contents into the emptied Maxwell plugin folder) and now neither the external renderer nor the connection to mxm gallery starts up. MXED same. I see a brief cmd window flashing up (seems empty) and thats it.
Fire is working better for me now:)
Maybe it's too late and all will resolve by tomorrow..

HI JD,

I'm using Vista Ultimate 64, C4D 12.048 and Maxwell 2.5.1
environment variables are still set.

where else might i look? maybe i'll try to reinstall maxwell....

First, I'd probably check whether or not running as administrator might make a difference. Then, if you have not deleted your previous plugin (also, which version was that?), I'd try switching back to that one, to confirm whether or not the difference is within the plugin.

hehe a classic...

i tried

• renaming folders

• re-copying files

• re-setting variables

• re-installing older plugin versions

nothing worked.

Then i restarted windows and all is fine ^^

So move along... nothing to witness here

Thanks for the new plugin JD - i tend to attack bigger and bigger scenes thanks to your great work.
