Hi all

I have to correct the path of textures in the material editor manually, when i import material from the maxon web page. But only for the first material.
Do i something wrong ?? ( MacOs 10.6.7, Cinema 4D Studio R12, C4 plugin 2.5.1.6 )

Best,
Thomas

Yes , i mean the Maxwell MXM gallery webpage . The effect is, that i have to manually correct the texture path in the different channels ( bump, roughness, displacement etc. etc ). After downloading the pathesnames are i microsoft style ( c:/.....). All textures were downloaded in the correct folder i setup in the preferences. I correct it manually and then it works. When i donwload the next one , everything is ok, it happens only the first time .

The paths in the downloaded MXM will still be whatever they were when the MXM was created, so they might be in any style, Windows, OSX, or whatever. If you use the Browse MXM Gallery function in the plugin (material editor menu > MXM Options), instead of manually downloading via the web page, then the plugin should correct the paths automatically.

Hmm ... i always did that the way you described and tested it again. I will not work. After importing via the plugin with the Button "Browse with MXED Browser" the path are not corrected, i´ve to do that one time manually, the nexts are ok .
Same effect when i use "Search Maxwell MXm Gallery", the plugin is the newest version. All the textures are stored in the folder i setup in the preferences, only the path is not corrected in the shaders.
