I'm having problems applying grass in Maya.
It goes on the object most times instead of the grass.
Should I change my Outliner differently as to display a certain way so as to select only the grassMod?
I select the grass but of course its under the object so it's hit and miss if I do it right.
Can someone give me a step by step?

Hi,

There are other methods but I just use an attribute editor. I go to maxwellGrass tab and press a Select button in the bottom before assigning a material.
