Hi all
This feature is worth the price of version 3.1 alone...
But, in my opinion, it should be on as default. why would I need the object cutting into the shadow pass?
And my question is, how do I turn this flag on for many objects? (Maya)
Its tedious going over all the objects in a scene and ticking this on/off.
Thanks
(*I've tried in the attribute spreadsheet but it doesn't do it)

I'll talk to the engine guys about enabling this by default and unless they point out some obvious reason against it, I'll do it for the next build.

Which version of Maya are you using? I've just tried setting the flag for multiple objects with the attribute spreadsheet in Maya 2015 and it worked fine.

Ive now installed maxwell_maya_win_3.1.10 from the early builds, i cant say that i see this flag in the spreadsheet, is it there?.
also, hiden from shadow is not yet the default, as you suggested.
thanks

All the Maxwell flags have the "Mx" prefix in the attribute spreadsheet, so this attribute should be in a column called "Mx Hide To Cam in Shadow", right after "Mx Hide to GI". Make sure the "All" tab is selected in the spreadsheet, since these flags aren't keyable.
