Will there be a Maya 2015 plugin for Maxwell 2?

Anyone knows if they will release a Maya 2015 plugin for Maxwell 2 or they some kind of forcing us to update to V3?
I know is August and most of you at Next Limit you are on holidays but I am sure someone has an answer for my simple question.

The 2.x line of the plug-in is no longer maintained except for critical bug fixes. We are considering making a new build which supports Maya 2015, but we don't have a set release date for it.
