Hi,
the Fire windows never show up in any of my maya files, any ideas ?
Where are the user prefs for windows from Maxwell located ?
I think that the initial origin coordinates of the Fire preview window could be off , meaning out of my screen resolution, something like 5000x8000, makes sense ?

Thanks a lot,
Alex.

You can make Maya forget the placement of the FIRE window by running this command:
Code: Select all
windowPref -remove MaxwellFIRE
If this doesn't fix it, check if any messages appear in the script editor when you press the FIRE shelf button. Has it stopped working recently, or it's always been broken? Does it work if you convert one of the viewports into a FIRE window (use the Panels -> Maxwell menu to select a camera, then check "Interactive Rendering").
