I need to set up the sun freely without the limitations of a real geographic location nor season.
That is why I have tried the "tracking object" option.
Anyway I cannot make it work yet, since I do not understand how should it work.
I have tried with a simple sphere that should represent the sun, and tried to move it in the scene, but what I get is a dark scene.
I thought that perhaps I should rotate the object to set the sun angles but didn´t worked yet.
Any hint will be greatly appreciated.

The plug-in uses the direction of the object, not the position. It works with a sphere too, but it's awkward because it will derive the direction from the rotation of the sphere. It's better to use a directional light, or some other shape which makes it easier to understand where it's pointing.

I think the best thing to do is just create a simple directional light and after you use the manipulator tool to point it in the right direction, tell maxwell to track it ?
