import dwg or dxf without getting it triangulated?
I model in quads but after importing into maya it's triangulated.

I think DXF and DWG only support tris. Maybe try OBJ or FBX.

thanx for the reply, but I know that if I try to export from my main modeler (ARC+) to autocad, autocad keeps the quads (even in dxf...)
