when i have different texture shapes (square / rectangle) for diffuse and displacement maps, how do i get my UVW Unwrap areas to fit the diffuse map with a UVW setup A, and the displacement map with a UV setup B ?
Basically the diffuse is marble all over the object, and displacement is molding just at specific areas.
How is this done ?


are you making sure they use different uv channels?

uv setup A = channel 1
uv setup B = channel 2

and then making sure the displacement don't tile? (unless you want it to)

At least that how i do it and it works fine, the only difference is that i always use square textures. never tried rectangles.
