can't see the buttons for the mmx import ./ export etc.
How to get them back ?

The import/export buttons don't appear on that material because it's a Maxwell Reference Material, it is used as a proxy to reference an outside mxm that maxwell loads during render, so the import button is replaced by the browse, Library and Online buttons that allow you to select which mxm is referenced. An export button would only make a copy of the file that is currently referenced, so it is not included in this material.

If you want to import and edit the material, you have to use a Maxwell Material.
