It is probably a stupid windows security problem but maybe someone can help...

I tried several times to install the new plugin update but it stops and my PC freezes...
Win 7 Home Premium 64bit and i7 Pcs...
Any ideas?

I tried "Run as Admin", I deactivated Panda Antivirus, I changed User control....

IT's A MIRACLE !!!

After the crash, I reopened MAX and I see that current version is 2.1.1

hehe, I'm glad things worked out.

The installer first copies all Max files and then it tries to install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages. Maybe that was causing the crash, but since you have Max 2011 you already have the package installed so no damage done with that crash. You can try it out by reinstalling the plugin and uncheck Visual C++ Redistributable Packages from the "Choose Components" window.
