HI!

I have problem making Animation from dusk till down, i want to use enviroment, and just change the time and date, but I cant synck it to animation frame changine.

Any suggestions?

one more thing, where is north in 3ds, in maxwell ?

In Max, create a daylight system and use that system to drive the environment through the Maxwell plug in. The Max system has a compass too, which you can rotate to make north any direction you want.

After you make the daylight system, you can keyframe the parameters however you want.

Ok, the MAX daylight system works good with maxwelll, but i cant find the compass?
i have found compas in CREAT>HELPERS>COMPASS but it seem not to afect the north.

w maxie północ masz na "górze"
możesz tym sterować za pomocą GROUND ROTATION w ustawieniach pluginu. (nie wiem czy da się to animować).

ten sam compass z helperów nic nie da .
w którymś z systemów jest jest ten kompas od razu (przynajmniej w moim maxie 7.0)
spróbuj dalight system, sun&sky, albo w światłach photometric , gdzieś to jest. tylko tutaj nie mam maxa pod ręką.

The compass is the one on the daylight system icon. Rotate the icon and you are rotating the north.
