Hi,
I'm working on some MXI lightning images, but I have a pretty slow computer (Pentium-III 800Mhz) and I can't render at levels that make caustics clearer, so I'm asking if light coming from MXI can produce caustics like any other emitter...

and the other thing: is Maxwell capable of correctly reproduce Fresnel effect, i.e. incident-angle dependant reflection?

and thanks NL for one of the greatest gift ever made to the CG community! :D

good fresnel for Dielectrics... and little less for plastics... but it's in there already....

although it would benice to have a way of controlling it... with a gradient for instance...

Caustics from hdr_MXI emitters are not so strong... but it's there.......
