I'm just a hobbyist, and doing a purely academic exercise so please don't worry about practical issues I would face in the real world.

I am wanting to design a lighting system for our club's tennis courts. I've looked up a bunch of real world specifications regarding LED light outputs and dispersion patterns, along with officially designated requirements for illumination levels. My next step is to figure out how many LED panels I would need to meet the official specifications.

Is there any way in MW to measure the amount of light falling on particular surfaces?

Thank you for that. I tried 3 searches without finding that thread. In the end to find it I had to use the phrase "light value" rather than "Lux" or "illumination". :o

It sounds like no easy / cheap answer. Another factor is I am on a Mac, so some of these options weren't an option. You would imagine MW would have that information readily available. After all, it has to calculate these values as part of its simulations anyway.
