I would like to know how to set the priority to something higher than low within the provided Maxwell batch script so that it gets passed along to every frame.

I thought unchecking "Low" in Maya plugin before mxs exports would do it. But that doesn't seem to get passed along to each .mxs file.

The "low priority" setting in the plug-in only applies if you start the renderer from Maya, because it translate into a command-line flag when running the Maxwell executable. If you're using a script for batch rendering, maybe it's better to ask this question in the main forum, so that the author of that script can see it.
