I recently got a simple 2-port KVM switch (1x video, 2x PS/2 ports). It works just fine being connected straight via PS/2 ports between to PCs,
but I wanted to have my laptop connected to it and since laptops do not have PS/2 ports anymore, I got a 2x PS/2 to 1x USB connector.
Now here's the problem: as I connect the KVM switch with my laptop (using 2x PS/2 to 1x USB) ONLY mouse is being recognized; keyboard does not respond.
And there's nothing I can do about it.
Does anyone here uses KVM switches? Maybe someone's familiar with the problem.
Is it OK to use reduction/connector at the end of the KVM switch?
Thanks
