Just playing with 1.6

Placed a cube on a plane using physical sun and sunlight = no shadows!

Where's that new setting then?

have you activated physical sun also? or juts sky?

oops

just so happened that I'd placed my camera so that all shadows that were being cast were hidden by the cube...

a quick rotation of the camera revealed some lovely shadows...
