Very nice for 1st project. The rendering looks clean.
The picture has a general scale problem so the building looks very small although I understand it is a big building.
The grass is very big, it needs to be at least at 50%.
Also, turn your camera a little to show more of the building's front.
The people should be closer to the building and you should add some more.
I would use a smaller tree for the upper left corner too.
A little more contrast would make it better.
The roof looks a little too pink for my taste, try to use a texture map of roof tiles or a bigger bump map.
Don't worry though, I think you got the general idea, it is a matter of time and practice. You should see my 1st rendering....(!!!)
