..never underrate the power of environment variables ;-)
what means ??
the content seems to be dynamic, somehow..
environment variables (e.g. in php) can be used to provide differnet content...

We are going to get more updates over the next 2 weeks which means that an upgrade to current RC5 is not forseeable for this month... is this close to the mark or what??? If it is the case then I will not bother wasting my time playing any further with RC5 as it will be a whole new ball game once the next update is delivered

RC5 for me is unuseable and the clock is ticking

Great features were announced!! I am very excited. But it increased my impatience to maximum... I would like to have it installed...

I have one question about cooperative render. How is ensured difference between single mxi's rendered on various PC's? For example. If i have 4PC's, not in network. I start same render at all ones. Then i will combine that 4 mxi's together. Aren't that 4 mxi's same? Or if i do 4 same renders on one PC, every one will be different and after combining i will get better one? Is there some random seed? What will happen, when i render one mxi then rename and copy that file 4x (for example: file01, file02...) and then combine them? Will I get better result? Is it possible to get better result from same mxi's?

Sorry my english, hope you uderstand my question...

This have been asked few times without answer.

In next release we can hide object from camera and still have it visual
in shadows and reflection. Does this give us option top create matte/shadow
materials or objects?

Please answer?

This is very important option for us who are working in vfx field.

Mike shows this feature in his announcement. It's the image with the sphere and the mirror. Great new feature.

In this case, we're pretty much down to questions with answers that are coming in future announcements ;)

...we do have a button labeled Normal Map, though.
