Hi Micha,

I was wondering... Is it right that you used Rhino to model the scene? If so did you create the floor texture with one big bitmap? Or did you use Matador to tile the texture?

Thanks

Thanks Pietro. :)

Mark, the floor is one big bitmap. I never have got Matador working with Rhino files. The camera moving dosn't work. :?

really nice images, Micha. just a small detail:

Thank you for your comment. Good idea. In the closeup the view on the colored windows is not so important and so I'm more free to choose the camera angle. IanDavis suggest in an other post ( http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6263) to use a DOF not for big objects fullsized in the image. So, I will try to bring the suggestions together.

Here a first simple cut in photoshop. Next week, if I have more time, I will do more experiments with the 3D object.

Amazing work!! I really love the floor texture, I know you can’t share the floor texture but could you please share the settings you used like UV roughness, specular, ect

Really great detail in your render!!

@cyberderf: Thanks. It's a pure Maxwell. The glass light box -> see page 1, there is a short tutorial.

@MarkM: Thanks for the comment. For the floor texture I have used UV roughness 0.3. The Bump strength is 5 and for the specular I have used a map. I must say, I have done some times a fine tune of the specular map and I decided me for less strength. The workflow is weak here, a specular factor is a must for the future.
