Just curious... how "accurate" does it have to be? Around here (in sunny Florida with all the old people) you can get lawn ornaments called "gazing balls". They can be quite large (4-12")... Would something like this work?

That's pretty cool... I remember from years ago there was a company looking at making perfect spheres in space. If I recall once a liquid is released into zero gravity it makes a perfect sphere due to surface tension.

I remember that. They said that the bearings they were making, if they were as big as the Earth, the tallest mountain peak would be 20 feet. :shock:
