Just curious... how "accurate" does it have to be? Around here (in sunny Florida with all the old people) you can get lawn ornaments called "gazing balls". They can be quite large (4-12")... Would something like this work?

That's pretty cool... I remember from years ago there was a company looking at making perfect spheres in space. If I recall once a liquid is released into zero gravity it makes a perfect sphere due to surface tension.

I saw it , ... thought it quite nice -- didn't say a damned thing. So, ..if you mulltiply that sentiment a couple thousand times and I'd say you had a pretty good response! ...you just don't know it.
