I updated the images with an old model of mine that i have rendered in Blender yafray and vray. I was interested to see how it looked in maxwell. It was supposed to go into a childrens book that a friend of mine was writing but that never came to be so the whole project was shelved.

wow, love the architectural shots the best. Did you use a bump for the green exterior house to give it that overlapping wood look?

Also, I'm a bit new at maxwell, how do you assign a separate specular texture to another. I know that you can do it in 1.0 with coating when thats out, but how do you do it for beta?

andronikos916, Micha, shnerp,

thanks

shen.de,

most of the images are 10 hours, the last one, the bubble making machine, I let cook for 20.

Hervé,

hehe.. alah Duchamp and his chocolate grinder? ivox3 right, it's a bubble making machine. I can't find that line though. :)

morgangray,

No bump, I modelled the boards.

you can assign a specular texture on the plastic material down in the maps slots (in beta)

Nik , thanks

NicoR44,

I never imagined one might be in it while it was in operation. hehe what's the fun of doing something in the most direct way? I've always liked Rube Goldbergs mind.
