Sorry to hear you can't get maxwell working, I wish I could help but I'm on a pc. Hopefully you'll be able to use it once 1.0 is released. Once I get caught up at work I hope to have time to post some examples that I'm trying to incorporate into my workflow with real projects.

Sorry, I really don’t know what causes the crash. I think Pavol is the only one who can help you there.
The bumps+texture seem to cause a lot of problems. It is probably not working the same way on different systems.

This is an Skecthup file I did for a client. The building has been built already.
So I decided to render it in Maxwell, since there isn't alot of traditional architecture done with Maxwell, I thought I'd give it a go.
Unfortunatelly , I cannot get any bump mapping yet. I'll keep trying.

thanks sheik, I'll repost my entire project after Dec. 5 when it's due...My prof said the decor felt a little cold so I'm going to try and make the design feel a bit softer...

This is hopefully my last rendering from the beta. This rendered for 1000 min using only physical sky. It will be fun to se how long it takes on the new (rc) version.
The model is imported as 3ds to SU from http://hdri.cgtechniques.com/~sibenik2/. It is the Sibenik cathedral.
