I'm happy to hear the comments. Thank you. :)

Thomas, the best on the light setup of the ChairConcept is, Maxwell do calculate it very fast. It is only a big plane emitter over the whole scene + simple environment intensity 30.
Rivoli, the emitter was only an emitter with custom color and no texture used.

Macray, the balls rack is a fun project from the study of my wife.

What units are you modeling in rhino, I always have a problem setting light intensity when modeling in feet.

As always your work rocks, and I esspecially like were you took those illustrative aproaches to your renders, esp (18) the laser. But easch piece is a joyu to look at, can't decide which is my favorite! and the last one as a grea tlook to it too!
Cant wait to see what you'l do with RC/v1!

Gefällt mir die Hagebutte.

The last picture is really fine. Finally something natural again and no architecture as almost every picture from maxwell.

I'm happy about yours feedback. Thank you. :D
Especially I'm happy about the positive feedback about the rose hip image. I plan to use it as intro for my homepage.

@MarkM: Sorry, I have overlook your question. Most I use milimeter or centimeter without problems. Only be careful with custom units, it dosn't work with Maxwell.

@Jonny: Only the toy is modeled. Any other is texture or composite post work. Here a screenshot from the scene. The background in the rendering is a black plane (so I avoid extra background reflection on the ground) and I have added the final background per Photoshop. The light come frome a MXI HDRI sphere. The ground (plastic shader) is a planar texture with a "baked" frontal projection from Rhinoman|AIR (in Rhino we can not use special projection types).

Micha,
I always enjoy viewing your work, you do some amazing renders. :D

Two questions for image 25:
The tabletop the plant and apples are sitting on shouldn’t the texture map run the other way?

And what is this in the image, looks like one of those old pencil sharpeners that hang on the wall

On image 26:
Love how you mixed the line style with photo-realism; I was wondering what technique you used for doing that?
Also when are we going to see a close up render of those apples?

Kind regards,
Mark

I'm not sure what you mean, my english ... . But if you mean the direction fo the wood texture is not right, ... I will render this scene with Maxwell 1.0 again.

I'm very happy about this mix style too, because nobody like to do it in a real photo - drawing of all this lines. I use my biased renderer Rhinoman|AIR in outline mode and combine this image with the Maxwell rendering.
Here a part of a rendering from an old project. Allways if I see this apples I get hungry. :)

Wow, those apples look very delicious :D

Yep, that’s what I meant to say, the direction on the one isn’t right, and same thing on the kick plate.

I think everything else looks great and the conference table looks really great, the carpet adds a nice warm feeling that you used
