it support SSS but not a multi layer SSS which what our skin is...

Here are some of my attempts at this using a combination of Poser, 3ds Max, and Maxwell. None of these figures is using SSS - just either basic diffuse or plastic shaders.

Of course it is an rendered image, its even have the non material surfaces in side of them, but it still shows the capability of sss even though I named this rendered picture a photo. No biggie in my bubble :)
