Finally got a new laptop. Solid speed improvement. MacBook Pro 16" 2019 Intel Core i7 2,6 GHz 6-Core vs MacBook Pro 16" 2024 Apple M4 Max 16 Cores. The new laptop renders the same scenes 4.3 x faster than the old one. Also the laptop's fans never come on.
