As installation says, there isn't official support for Maya 2016.5 EXT2 ?

Support for Maya 2016.5 (Extension 2) was dropped ? Some official answer would be really appreciated.

No, Maya is not Dropped. But it will be changes on Maya plugin developer, and maybe we need some time for new versions.

I asked further about this issue. It seems that old developer thought 2016.5 was unnecessary due to most people upgrading to 2017. Anyway we will discuss this with the new developer and see what to do.
