Could you give us any more info about Graphic Cards for new Multilight Preview. It will work efficiently on any card or some special ones are recommended?

Hi Rafal,

Finally we've been able to make this new Multilight to work on every graphic just needing OpenCL support, so mainly any regular graphic card today will handle it.
The amount of Ram in your graphic card needed depends of course in the image you are editing (enough graphic card memory to hold the whole image and all its channels and ML sliders).

So, basically, 99.9% of the users will enjoy it ; )

Cheers

Thank you! Great info indeed.

Probably a stupid question, but what is the maximum amount of graphic memory used during development tests? Just to have some idea about what we could expect.
I am also curious about the behaviour with complex scenes. For example, if I have a 1GB graphic card and the scene is so complex it would require 1.5GBs, what would the expected outcome be? Rendering would be somewhat slower, would it be much slower because the GPU acceleration would not be possible, Maxwell would possibly crash :) or what else?

thumbs up on the launch site ! , looks very nice so far.

I do have a question on the procedurals , does maxwell now support solid projection on the UV channel ? (fingers crossed)

Appart from the new features, I wonder about V2 bug fixes.
Do you have or will you have a list of Bug fixes in V3?
In such a case, could you tell me where to look at it?
thanks

Re-voxelizing looks great - this window works as GPU renderers
I am curios about real speed in this case. On V3 presentation as in short movie from new v3 site example shows MXS reference only.
What about complex geometry placed directly. Maybe I am wrong?
