Ok, "they" have only sun caustics (if this announcement isn't another hoax and it is really working without limitations). Without emitters (and HDRI) this is pretty useless in many cases... but it is at least a start
to solve the (for me) biggest problem of unbiased rendering.

It was only a matter of time before somebody got it right... if true (and you should always be skeptical with random control) it won't be long before everybody has it.

I am liking the look of these volumetric atmospheres... that can remove a ton of postwork (assuming it renders fast enough, which I suspect it will).

Most important for me now is "How to get v3". NL: I want to pay by credit card
and please pack it for take-out

It seems ok to me to see that Arion info here; it relates to the technical solutions we expect for V3; well, in fact, I don't really expect much on that as the problem is solved but slowly solved; maybe just some optimizations.
Those pictures from Arion also look kind of fake to me though. Maybe the last one will pass.

Darío: cool stuff man. Your effort in improving the environment system is really appreciated.
