Hi
I´ve a problem/question concerning the attached very basic scene, fire flies. I modeled a basic reflector in Cinema, size 10cm. I put a emitter in the center of the reflector and render the scene.
I don´t understand, why i have a lot of fireflies, white points around the bright zone . Without the reflector everything is ok.
I tested different geometries of the reflector, put the normals of the triangulated geo always to inside, changed the ground material with different values, changed
the environment Result is always the same, white points around the bright center of the light. The geo of the light emitter is a small sphere ( 8 ploys) or a single poly, same effect.
Why the white points ?
