How many GUI licenses do you have? Are you running Maxwell on another computer at the same time?

i got the euro deal so i think it's 1+5
however MR is running only on this computer ....
it's a scene with some trees and ivies but at some point it stopped rendering it (I know that before adding all the plants etc. it rendered well)
mem is 12Gb ram and maya+maxwell take about half. (win7 x64)

Make sure you don't have a Maxwell process stuck in background and blocking your GUI license.

when I hide most of the plants and trees, it renders as usual.
maybe a piece of corrupted geometry?

In this case, I would need the scene to see what's going on. Could you send it to me? See if it still hangs with a single lambert material applied on all objects; if it does, you can send me the modified scene, so that you don't need to attach any textures or external MXM materials.

I think it was a bit of s_*&t from the ivy generator which is a great program but has it flaws....
now it renders after I've deleted some unknown plants.
Do you happen to know a good alt. to ivy gen.?
