When I uninstall the Maxwell plug-in (using addon manager), upon pressing 'Done' Softimage crashes.

The next restart of Soft crashes, saying 'failed to save upon system failure...' or something like that.
EDIT: the 'next restart' occasionally crashes

when I start Soft for the second time, it comes up.

Yeah, we noticed this right before release, I think it's a new feature in the already wondrous Softimage 3rd party renderer API. We'll look into it and fix it if it's our fault.

I must admit I noticed this too but thought it was just Windows being Windows!

It was entirely our fault, it's fixed for the next update.
