Ok, all goes on. If Next Limit needs another two months.. or four.. o middle year, no problem for me. With this videos I have enough to forget impatience.

Solid software, trust-able, non big bugs, good results at the first shot... this is the way to do software, the next limit way. I love it.

Bravo bravissimo for, by my side, the new Maya viewport. And great button, the smiley face. I want this icon on the interface!.

Videos look great! I hope this is not a supercomputer with 320 cores!
I believe 100%GPU renderers have faster preview results but I prefer a fast CPU or a combination of CPU and GPU if this works correctly...
Did anyone see any PC specifications mentioned?

I hope my I7-2.8Ghz - 8Gb RAM is enough.

Will this be possible to use 2-3 PCs connected? I mean from Studio, like network rendering, network previewing..

A quick test of Maxwell Interactive technology inside 3DMax. Computer specs are low, just a core2 duo 2.13, to show it can run on any type of computer.
Good to know. Max video looks less responsive than Rhino.

Juicy news!

This is fantastic. Brilliant job. Clearly you have all been working very hard. I never imagined we would see it integrated into the plug-ins in such an excellent way.

there is a bigger milestone in maxwell developement process.

suddenly it shows , background image can be just DISPLAYED not need to be sampled ;) maybe there is rendertime saver ;)

I think everyone should stay a little cooler. this all realtime would be great for setting materials in simple scene (simball here I come ;) ) , as at all showed example with 4 meshes and IBL around. With heavy interior it would be chocked as usuall.
similiar effect with this realtimepreview youtube is when I set RS0 and resolution 200X150 on my 1.7.1 version, except time loss for voxelization process. Maybe that is why RS0 is not available anymore in 2.X

I personally am not interested in plugin integration of Interactive preview since I work in Studio, BUT it is really pleasing that NL is already working on it, since this is EXACTLY what many users wanted. :!:
Bravo, Next Limit!!! :D

Hi,

The development of this interactive technology is going well and we aim to release it within weeks, not months. At first it will be integrated in Maxwell Studio and in some plugins as you can see in the videos posted here:

http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... =1&t=35459

The barriers to integrate this technology in plugins depend a lot on each specific case. Some host SDK's are powerful enough to allow a deep integration. Others are not, even some of them even don't provide a robust mechanism to draw in a separate window, or force you to do all sort of hacks to get something working. As mentioned in the initial statement, we are *trying* to integrate it in all the plugins, and so far we have got it working in some of them with very promising results. Integration in other plugins is on the way and we will post results when we can guarantee they will work.

Thanks!

Juan
