The option determined by the user to select the method of ML channel assignment!

Version 1+ enabled ML channels by grouped geometry and now with V2 via the emitter material, I'd love a user option to determine this assignment. It may have been a great move for some modeling applications but has created a real bummer for others!

I can to a degree imagine this might also be an advantage with ML + colour though with the PS plugin this isn't so critical.

And before people say NO it's better now! Remember I'm simply asking for the option and not a return to previous function! What suits you may well not suit ME!
