See! I was a little confused, but at the same time I wanted to believe it was possible with my i920

Still it's very fast! Have you tried overclocking it any further? If my 2,66 Ghz was able to go to 4.0 Ghz, yours should beat that easily

Nah... it's fast enough for me. I want stability and longevity. It would be nice if it lasts at least a couple of years before an upgrade. Before this, I had an AMD dual core for 5+ years.

There's the latest with my overclock @ 4.18 it gets a bit warm if I go much higher than this. i'm pretty sure that's where i'm leaving it at.

@tok_tok: not using water cooling. I have a TRUE 120 heatsink though, which is fairly beefy. I probably wouldn't overlock on air this high if I had a smaller heat sink

Safe to say that it's gonna be about twice as fast as the 980's as it is the same arhitecture (sort of) which will put it in the low 3's.
When Apple comes up with the new Mac pro based on these puppies, I'm getting one too.
