What setting in Maxwell Render do I need to enable in order to get a background mask layer?

Hello Josephus,

To get a Background Mask, you just need to enable the Alpha channel in the Render Settings when you set up the render.

This is the only way Maxwell can store the Alpha information in an independent buffer to be used as Background Mask.

Let me know if this answers your question.
