Which will clean faster in V2?
I have some downlights which are spheres and naturally they are about 80 polygons each at least. Is that too many polygons to assign an emitter material to or should I just enclose single planes inside an AGS half cylinder?

But anyway, don't enclose emitters and waste time. Why not making the cylinder or hemisphere themselves emitters instead...

Yes I said cylinder but I meant half sphere.
Bubaloo was correct. I want to use those half sphere domes as downlights
I am skeptical about assigning an emitter directly on the spheres because the manual says that multipolygonal emitters reduce performance.
The domes are currently 80 polygons each

Then, it has forgot to say not to hide emitter behind other stuff, because it's far more harmful than using a high poly emitter alone :mrgreen:
Also, 80 poly doesn't sound that bad... Give it a try ;)
