- carpaint has a problem in 3ds max mxm wizard. if i select a light gray colour (no saturation), the material turn to full black color in flakes and base layer. this does not happen when i select a saturated color.

- sky preview in viewport works bad than 1.7

- 3dsmax often crashes if i click outside the "online mxm browsing" window


small request: is it possible to see texture in material editor near brightness (on so on..) settings, for having visual relation of numeric parameter?

Confirmed, it will be fixed in the patch.

What do you mean? That area hasn't seen significant changes since 1.x, so it shouldn't be worse.

Thank you very much Mihnea.

About sky may be i had only 'unlucky' scenes until now, because i always see blinking/disappearing sky (or hdr) background.


edit: btw i'm going to format pc and re-install all appz, to avoid "old ghosts" of 3dsmax.
When i say the word "crash" i think suddenly to 3ds max, and not to maxwell :)

This has happened here in the past because of distance of camera/scene to 0,0. Make sure your scene is to scale and close to 0,0.
