I've heard that WD has two WD10EADS model
Old one is 334GBx3 platter model and newer is 500GBx2 platter model which name is WD10EADS-00L5B1
But these two Green Cavier series is just 5400 rpm model.
I'm using WD1001FALS but it's somewhat old model.
I think they will release new model with 500GB platter.

And if you not insist WD
Seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS is good too. ( not 7200.11 model)
