I think, five different scenes with different scenarios were quite expressive and demonstrative about the improvement in rendertimes. You see 2x to 6x and sometimes even more in this demonstration. Honestly, I still can't believe it but that's true... It's just fast I can say.
Be happy and meanwhile wait for more announcements.
For noise comparison scenes, we were careful not to show other improvements in combination because that would be confusing. Because v2 had incredible improvements in many areas for a long time and we are eager to show you each of them separately in the best way, rather than creating more question marks. This way you can barely see where does each improvement come from. Otherwise, one can think X scene was faster because Y thing has been improved, so it's not a speed improvement. As, this is not the case we wanted to show it off clearly first.Maximus3D wrote:Can you betatesters show us any other examplerenders using glass and other materials on simple objects with rendertimes included so we get to see something more tasty examples of what you guys have produced during your tests of 2.0, please ? NDA's should allow you to do that.
