Great as always... But I don't find it very useful, even a simple walkthrough is too much for my projects... 2-3 stills will do...

If you're a archviz guy then Houdini is not your type of application, walkthroughs and such stuff can you do better with other apps. This is more a visual effects tool, fluid dynamics, explosions and smoke and much more. It's what it does best and what it should be used for. If possible i'm gonna try to learn it, or atleast see if i can learn to produce great looking effects with this tool. It would be a nice addition to my CV. :)

houdini is a great app, though i never touched it .. yet.

i've heard from classmates at gnomon that took the houdini class sentences like: «damn, if you just want to build a simple table it creates easily over 100 nodes ..» :)

since houdini's go the all procedural-approach it's insanely powerful, but it's a no-go to use try and use it for simple camera animation.

i've seen they sell a watermark-free edu version for 99$ ..
