I just love the 10-20 and had one a year ago, but sold it off when I bought the 70-200. But now it's time again

We're doing the LA->San fran-->Reno-Vegas-Canyon and perhaps mexico trip down with 2 friends of mine and a car.

This is at the main entrance to the Cleveland Clinic.

Definitely not the best pics I've ever taken, but this thing is way cool, ..way big. I was just driving by and had to snap a couple. I plan on going back with a little better setup and also to shoot a few from higher up in the building looking down.

It also illuminates at night -- which I'd like to capture too because Maxwellians are suckers for anything dielectric, glowy, clear, glassy illuminating type things.

I don't know .. I have to guess its plexi. Glass seems costly, risky and generally -- insane. But it's the CC and money isn't really an issue I'm thinking.... lol.

Wow polynurb, those are great! thanks for posting the snow shots. Where in the alps did you shoot that ? if you don't mind me asking.

I went to a sci-fi convention today here in Gothenburg, and it was great fun to see all the dedicated fans there. Some of them even dressed up as stormtroopers, orcs and others with amazingly well done costumes.
