Thats great news!!

My new machine will arrive in one week!
It will be interesting to see what it can manage..

About 3700$

Not that much if you compare it with a HP workstation with maxxed specs, or a Mac Pro with maxxed specs.

Someone got to be the first one, right? :D

3,8 GHz on air is really cool
i'm waiting for the nehalem xeons and the dual-proc-boards - hopefully jan or feb 2009 - and then i'll build my new rigg ...8x4GHz watercooled 8)

well you can have (not as much...) speed with less expensive PC. My 64bit vista PC with 8Gb Ram, Intel Core2Quad Q9550 overclocked to 4 Ghz gave me 12:29 and 847.80 which is very fast, all you see around it are 8 cores in the table... and it costs about a third of that price.

Our new audio-pc comes with 4 GHz,
my system here is running @ 3.8..
