Yup, flying usually gets you there in a hurry :)
Catapult design is very useful in this game. People are throwing around all kinds of stuff. (I think I even saw a kitchen sink flying around in one of the solved levels)

I took the plunge the other day and got the full version (it seems its worth $10 of entertainment :) ) ... its a whole new world once you get in their forum. There are hundreds of levels (user created). They got challenges and unsolved mysteries going on there.
